The laser on target

ELBIT SYSTEMS is seeing a sharp rise in global demand for its Laser Target Designator (LTD) systems, with 2025 marking a record year in both land and airborne applications. Militaries are increasingly relying on precision‑guided targeting and networked battlefield capabilities, and Elbit’s LTD portfolio, all compliant with NATO laser‑coding standards – is becoming a key enabler for these missions. 

From enhanced accuracy on stabilized airborne turrets to real‑time data sharing through C4I networks on the ground, the systems are helping shorten the sensor‑to‑shooter cycle and improve coordination across modern battlefields.
