Claw Gear not only offers quality clothing but has expanded into weapon attachments, such as the Modular Scope Mount and new handguards for the Steyr AUG. These innovative upgrades enhance the weapon's capabilities, making it more versatile and user-friendly. The new AUG parts are available on Claw Gear's website.
Claw Gear, that is good clothing. That's right, so far. But Claw Gear is more now: the Claw team is also working on weapon attachments. We were able to exclusively see what they have done with the Steyr AUG. At first glance, you can tell there is a lot different - and better, in our opinion.
Claw Gear sticks to the classic A1/A2 AUG with the fixed-mounted sight. The weapon is from the time before Picantinny, so it lacks the options for adding what you need. With the Modular Scope Mount, Claw Gear overcomes this standstill: it simply screws over the regular sight, now the shooter can also mount an Aimpoint Micro as an aid for short distances.
Looking along the sight: the towers for adjusting the regular sight are easily accessible, yet there is enough space for a Red Dot and a light-laser module, for example. At the same time, two dust covers protect the sight. The expansion not only makes sense for civilian shooters, it would also benefit the army's weapons. HERE is where you can get the Modular Scope Mount.
The folding handle of the AUG bothers many people, and the front of the weapon heats up quickly. Claw Gear solves both problems with a new handguard. It replaces the folding handle, and now you can use foregrips as well. In this version, the weapon can also be gripped and guided wonderfully in a C-Clamp style.
Claw Gear has opted for the M-Lok system introduced by Magpul. This means that accessories like slings, grips, or other items can be attached on the slots via rails. Here, a laser aiming device has been mounted on the space gained by the handguard. The switch for it is on the left in the foreground.
Front view inside the opening of the handguard: my house has eight corners... When you shoot a lot and quickly, it also gets warm, but not as hot as the exposed barrel would be. The modular handguard will be available directly from Claw Gear these days.
Claw Gear has not left the AUG in peace from front to back. For example, there is also a new sling mount that works with QD Swivels. The advantage is that you press a button once, and the sling can be completely removed at the front and back, for instance, when cleaning. The AUG QD Sling Swivels are available HERE.
And at the muzzle, there are also changes: this is the SOF Compensator, Claw Gear has two more on offer. They look strong, throw off a Christmas star-shaped pattern, and are also serrated at the front, making them ideal as glass breakers and striking aids. For those who are allowed to, this thing is also prepared for the mounting of a B&T Suppressor. HERE is where the AUG SOF Compensator is available.
All the new AUG parts from Claw Gear can be found HERE on the manufacturer's website.
