We have received something to test again, a magnetic red dot mount for normal GLOCK slides. The CAT SM2 was developed in Argentina and is distributed by JTI Trading. At first glance, we don't find the concept bad. Thanks to a strong magnet, a mounting plate is "glued" to the slide so nothing needs to be permanently modified.
Only the rear sight needs to be replaced, as it serves as an index point. The 3.5 MOA dot from the red dot is easy to see and adjust. In the new year, this good piece will be put on our GLOCK and then off to the shooting range. We are curious to see how well this mounting method holds the zero. The CAT SM2 is available directly from JTI Trading starting at 525 euros.
